The best areas to be are between Hoi An town and the beach – either off Cua Dai Rd (connects to Cua Dai Beach) or Hai Ba Trung St (connects to An Bang Beach). The weather should be a big part of any decision about where to stay in Hoi An.

Is Hoi An too touristy?

The town has a ton of history, and has done an excellent job of marketing the heritage, so it is touristy, but in a way that I found pleasant (even when crowded).
